The Australian Dental Association recommends that children under 18 have regular dental check-ups, typically every 6-12 months. To make it easier for parents to prioritise their kids' oral health, the government offers the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS). This program grants eligible children access to up to $1,000 worth of dental services over a two-year period.
This means having dental appointments for your kids free of charge!
What's even better is that the CDBS isn't limited to routine check-ups alone. It also covers a wide range of services, including x-rays, cleanings, fillings, root canals, and extractions.
